Josh our latest Volunteer.....

Josh is our latest volunteer, saving the day when it comes to animal shelters.
He is rejuvenating part of the old hayshed/stables, where Gill once housed her horses. It, as I have previously said, is in need of some TLC, plus more!!! As you go into the stables, on the left hand side, is a double stable previously used for mares and their young foals. Josh is working on this area, making an old fashioned swiss cheap replica watches double stable door leading out into a paddock and replacing some of the old rotting timber beams.
Josh has many skills and every time I walk into the stable I am blown over by what I see; a new doorway, doors made of old timber, beams of freshly sawn fallen logs and old fashioned hinges. Josh has a deep empathy for this majestic building so has been able to bring things together in a way that has given it both physical strength and rustic appeal.
Once this is completed animals will be able to access both the paddock and the stable, we can then be confident in providing a safe, weather proof area for new arrivals. Please keep posted.
I am thrilled to say that Josh has started his own business. Good on him.
