It's not always easy to continue to ask people for things. However, we want Gill’s program to succeed and there is so much to get, so, if anyone has clean, children’s gumboots they are willing to pass on to Gillian’s Rainbow Bridge we would be most thankful.
Our programs are starting in March this year and we feel that some of the children may not have gumboots so we are reaching out to all our readers in the hope that you might have a spare pair of gumboots to pass on. Children attending will be between the ages of 6-12 years, both girls and boys. To learn more about our Autumn Programs click here
Also, hats, please have a look and see if you have an old Akubra-children’s size, or a similar style of outdoor hat that needs a new, happy, home. I’m sure some of the children would love to wear a farmer’s hat, an Akubra. Join in with the spirit of being on a farm.
And of course, the one thing that can keep us still active on the farm is a waterproof coat. Old Drizabone children’s coats would be fantastic however other clean, in good order, rain coats would fit the bill.
Thank-you for taking the time to read this blog and if you haven’t heard about Gill please browse this website further, there is a lot to see. Go to www.gilliansrainbowbridge.org.au
