Happy faces, concentration and touching/patting the animals is what our programmes evokes. Helping feed the animals, gather produce from the vegie garden, learning about how to care for farm animals, sharing a healthy lunch and making items from materials collected on the farm is what the day holds for these children. These activities will develop confidence, self worth and a greater understanding of farm animals and our replica watches live precious earth.
We are thrilled with the programmes so far, which are providing the children with more skills, personal growth and happiness than we initially expected. Seeing the children’s proud faces after completing a felted wall hanging , or making a woven mandala fills us with happiness too. The children are eager to learn more about the care of animals and our vet nurse, Nat, keeps them thinking and learning- hearing the heart beat of a new calf or gentle pony has kept them enthralled.
Lunch shared with friends and listening adults as well as healthy options keeps the conversation moving. We have been exceptionally fortunate to be given homemade relishes and jellies as well as local cheeses for the children to taste, and so they do, with enthusiasm. We are creating food connoisseurs! Running full pelt across the cheap replica watches grassy paddocks helps these active children release some of their pent up energy, then they are ready for more learning. Some children find it difficult to concentrate, stay focussed, listen to what is being asked of them but gentle and sometimes firm guidance helps them get through these difficult spots. Staff and volunteers at Gillian’s Rainbow Bridge have been chosen for their approach and skills when it comes to children in need.
More programmes are scheduled for May-June and July, so if you'd like to learn more please email or phone Annette
